Nestled in the high Andes, world-famous Cusco is a great jumping-off point to the pre-Columbian treasures of the Sacred Valley Region. In itself, Cusco is dotted with Spanish baroque churches, built on the remains of an Inca capital, the architecture of which can still be glimpsed at around the city. The Macchu Pichu is a must-see for all photographers, even though pictures cannot do justice to the grandiosity of the site. The hypnotizing circular terraces of Moray were just as interesting and spectacular.
