SOSSUSVLEI

Sossusvlei is a magnificent area covered with a blanket of red sand dunes as far as the eye can see. In the early morning the sun draws beautiful curvy shadows on those dunes, among the highest in the world. This site is also really famous for its arid “vleis”: white dried marshes scattered with petrified trees surrounded by sand dunes. It’s also possible to catch a glimpse of solitary animals like a crow resting on a tree or an oryx peacefully wandering the valley.
